Andi Irfan Jaya Executive Fatwa MA Djoko Tjandra Examined Next Week
JAKARTA - Attorney General's Office investigators have scheduled an examination of Andi Irfan Jaya next week. Andi Irfan was named a suspect in a criminal consensus in the processing of a fatwa from the Supreme Court (MA) for Djoko Tjandra.
"If I am not mistaken, the investigators schedule is for Andi Irfan next week, Monday or Tuesday," Jampidsus Investigation Director Febrie Ardiansyah told reporters, Tuesday, September 15.
Andi hasn't checked it without reason. Because Andi Irfan had to undergo isolation for 14 days at the KPK detention center to ensure Andi Irfan was not exposed to COVID-19.
"The end of the two-week (isolation period) on September 16," said Febrie.
Later investigators will dig up Andi Ifran's statement regarding his agreement with prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari in the MA fatwa proposal for Djoko Tjandra. However, the investigation has not yet led to the allegation that Andi was the recipient of the bribe.
"Until now there has been no evidence. It is not until we have studied whether he received money or not from Djoko Tjandra," said Febrie.
Andi Irfan Jaya was named a suspect along with prosecutors Pinangki and Djoko Tjandra.
Kapuspenkum AGO Hari Setiyono on Wednesday, September 2 confirmed that the money allegedly received by the Pinangki prosecutor of 500 thousand US dollars was handed over to Andi Irfan. Andi Irfan is said to be actively involved in arranging fatwas at the MA.
"Since the beginning we have conveyed that the allegation is around 500 thousand USD, the allegation was accepted by Prosecutor P, but whether it was accepted directly, was it a third person, the investigators determined one more person. It was through (Andi Irfan) that this money arrived, ”said Hari.
