Vice President Asks Police KBPP To Help Government Solve Various Problems
JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin asked the extended family of sons and daughters (KBPP) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to participate in helping the Government solve various development problems in Indonesia.
"The goal is that the ideals of welfare and justice can be achieved," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin when congratulating the 19th Anniversary of the National Police KBPP through a video conference in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 1.
Ma'ruf Amin said the government had set the foundations for development which were getting better from time to time. Thus, economic and social progress continues to be felt by the community.
At the same time, he continued, the challenges faced by the Indonesian people are also getting bigger, including changes in technology and information as well as the problem of the COVID-19 pandemic. With these various impacts, the Government took a number of strategic steps to deal with them, he said.
Not only that, he continued, the Government is also constantly faced with overcoming various other problems, such as poverty, unemployment, to inequality in welfare.
"Therefore, I hope that the National Police KBPP can actively participate in helping the government," he said.
At the end of his remarks, the Vice President conveyed a Happy 19th Birthday to KBPP Polri. The Vice President also prays that the organization will always be given kindness and can help the Government.
Meanwhile, General Chairperson of the National Police KBPP Evita Nursanty said that with the hope of the Vice President, the National Police KBPP no longer only prioritizes social activities, but also seeks to take part in national development.
"So, Mr. Vice President asked the role of KBPP not only in social, but also must have a national role, the economy and so on," said Evita.
