South Meruya Urban Village Head Died Due To Gastric And COVID-19
JAKARTA - The Mayor of South Meruya, Ubay Hasan passed away, Tuesday, September 15. He died due to gastric pain and COVID-19.
"According to information from the Health Office, the deceased had a stomachache before," said West Jakarta Deputy Mayor Yani Wahyu Purwoko as quoted by Antara, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 15.
The Head of Ubay Urban Village was declared to have chronic gastric disease and after being examined he had Acute Respiratory Infection (ISPA).
Ubay was then rushed to Cengkareng Regional Hospital for further treatment while undergoing a swab test.
"But the swab test has not yet come out. He died on Sunday, September 15 due to chronic gastric disease," said Yani.
Currently, West Jakarta City Government is waiting for Ubay to replace Ubay in Kelurahan Meruya Selatan. "Later the camat will decide," said Yani.
The Ubay swab test will be out on Monday 14 September. The results stated that Ubay was confirmed positive for COVID-19. This was revealed by West Jakarta Sub-dept. Of Health Kristi Wathini
