Conventional Battle Shifts To Digital, Jokowi Asks TNI-Polri Must Have 'Cadres' Proficient In Digital Talent

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reminded the TNI-Polri to have digital capabilities. This warning was conveyed because conventional battles have now shifted to the digital realm.

"The TNI-Polri must have digital talent. Because the era is like this," said Jokowi while giving a speech at the TNI-Polri Rapim which was broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat YouTube, Tuesday, March 1.

Jokowi said that digital talent must have capabilities such as artificial intelligence (AI), load computing, to digital marketing. Moreover, nowadays, such things have to be faced every day.

"You have to be good at AI, load computing, digital design, understand digital marketing. You have to understand, you have to understand," said the former Governor of DKI Jakarta.

Furthermore, this kind of capability must also be possessed to prevent crime in the digital world. So, all law enforcement officers must understand in order to do their job.

"The police don't understand what I said? Crimes may also shift from conventional ones to digital ones," he said.

"And now this has happened. So the TNI-Polri must have digital talent because our battle is ahead of technology, technology," concluded Jokowi.
