United States Military Army Secret Can Sleep Soundly In 2 Minutes
JAKARTA - There is something more difficult than sleeping, namely trying to sleep calmly. Usually this happens because someone is not used to sleeping at certain hours.
A technique from the military in the United States (US) reveals an easy way for a person to sleep soundly in two minutes. Reporting from The Independent on Tuesday, September 15, this method is used by US soldiers to rest even in the midst of war situations.
This technique was devised by the army chief to make sure his soldiers didn't make threatening mistakes simply out of exhaustion. This method is expressed in the book Relax and Win: Championship Performance which was released in 1981.
First, make your face more relaxed, such as the tongue, jaw, and muscles in the face. Then carefully lean your shoulders.
Take a deep breath and calm your body down to your feet. Then take 10 seconds to imagine three things:
You are lying on a canoe which is located in a lake. Nothing is in the way but a blue sky is above your view.
You lie on a black hammock in the same colored room.
You say "Don't think, don't think, don't think" to yourself for 10 seconds.
Difficulty sleeping can affect health conditions including obesity, high blood pressure and heart disease. This simple method can be tried for those of you who find it difficult to rest.
Dr. Neil Stanley also puts it all back into your mind. If you want to sleep peacefully, you should avoid thinking about anything heavy before bed.
A comfortable bed can also help with your rest time. "There is no magic way to change this habit, you have to find out what is best for you," he said.
You can stop thinking about something and can rest well. Good luck!
