Six Teenagers Perpetrators Of Brawl In Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, Positive For Drugs
JAKARTA - Six out of 10 underage teenagers involved in a brawl in Johar Baru, Central Jakarta were positive for drugs. This is based on the results of the police urine test examination of 10 people who were arrested.
"After we checked the urine, there were 6 people who were positive for consuming methamphetamine," said Johar Baru Police Chief AKBP Edison when contacted by VOI, Sunday, February 27.
For that, the police will carry out the development of this case. The police will track down the drug supplier.
"The brawlers (positive for drugs) will be rehabilitated. We will develop them to other perpetrators," he said.
The police are also still investigating the roles played by the 10 perpetrators in each brawl in Johar Baru, Central Jakarta.
"While we have just secured it, we haven't checked it yet. We will explore its role later, then we will secure it. The motive is mocking each other on social media so that a brawl occurs. There is an old grudge between groups," said the police chief.
According to the records of the Johar Baru Police, Central Jakarta, the perpetrators had engaged in brawls in five different locations. They are also different groups.
"There are five different groups, they were arrested in 5 locations. We haven't (searched) their homes yet, we'll just arrest them," he added.
"We ask the RT and RW to keep an eye on the children in their neighborhood not to go out at night. We will increase patrols," he said.
Previously reported, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police arrested 10 brawlers in five separate places. From the hands of the perpetrators of the brawl, the police confiscated as many as 4 sharp weapons of various types used for the brawl.
