Bareskrim Will Stop Investigation Of Nurhayati In The Citemu Village Fund Corruption Case

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police will coordinate with the Prosecutor's Office regarding the status of suspect Nurhayati in the alleged corruption case of Citemu Village funds, Cirebon. In fact, it is specifically planned that the investigation of Nurhayati will be stopped.

"The results of the coordination between the Head of the Resort Police and the Direskrimsus with Aspidsus and the Prosecutor's Office returned P21-yes, so that we can obtain SP3 (Warranty for Termination of Investigation)," said Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Komjen Agus Andrianto when confirmed, Saturday, February 26.

The plan to stop the investigation was because the case title carried out by the Investigative Supervisory Bureau (Wassidik) resulted in a decision on the lack of evidence. Thus, the second stage of Nurhayati was not carried out.

"The result of the title is not enough evidence so that stage 2 is not carried out," said Agus.

Previously, it was reported that Bareskrim had finished carrying out a case of alleged corruption in Citemu Village funds, Cirebon. As a result, the case that identified Nurhayati as a suspect will be re-coordinated to the Prosecutor.

"For suspect N, investigators will re-coordinate to the Public Prosecutor for the follow-up of this case," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.

Meanwhile, the case title carried out by the Investigative Supervisory Bureau (Wassidik) also resulted in a different decision for the suspect, Citemu Village Head Supriyadi. Where, the case file will still be forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office for later trial.

"With regard to the case file or the case with the suspect initials S, this case will continue," said Ramadhan.

For information, Nurhayati is a reporter for a case of alleged misappropriation of village funds that caused state losses of Rp800 million from 2018 to 2020. However, she who was previously a reporter is now a suspect.
