Once Returned, John Kei's Case Files Were Sent Again To The High Prosecutor's Office
JAKARTA - Investigators at the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of Polda Metro Jaya sent back the case files for the assault and vandalism with the suspect John Kei to the investigating prosecutor at the DKI High Prosecutor's Office. Previous case files were returned because they were declared incomplete.
"Indeed, on 10 (September) there was a slight flaw in the case file when we submitted it to the Public Prosecutor. There are several shortcomings and it has been completed. After that we have returned home again," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters. , Tuesday, September 15.
But Yusri did not explain when the file was sent back to the DKI Jakarta High Court. According to him, the police are just waiting for a decision from the investigating prosecutor regarding the completeness of the file.
If the file is declared complete, investigators will hand over the suspect John Kei and evidence. So, the case can be tried immediately.
"Hopefully P21 will be able to stage 2 the submission of the suspect as well as evidence and case files," he said.
As previously reported, the case files of persecution that led to murder and vandalism with the suspect John Kei and dozens of his men have been sent to the DKI Jakarta High Court for investigation.
