Electronic KTP Recording In Surabaya Exceeds Target, City Government: Maximum Public Service

SURABAYA - The electronic identity card (KTP) recording service in Surabaya has now exceeded the national target. This note is according to the results of a study by the Surabaya City Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency, in the presentation of the performance achievements of population administration services (adminduk) as of December 31, 2021.

"The electronic ID card recording service with a target of 99.3 percent has been exceeded to 99.24 percent and the child identity card service with a target of 30 percent has been exceeded to 53.45 percent," said Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency, Research and Development of the City of Surabaya, Febrina Kusumawati. , in Surabaya, East Java, Saturday, February 26.

According to him, the rapid process of recording electronic ID cards in the city of Surabaya began with the number of public services that were integrated and transferred to the sub-district and sub-district levels.

In fact, he continued, Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi repositioned his subordinates to the kelurahan and sub-district levels. In this way, services will be closer to residents' homes and there is no need to go all the way to the city center or to public service malls.

"So, many public services have been maximized at the kelurahan level, because the mayor wants all services to be completed at the kelurahan or subdistrict level," said Febrina, as quoted by Antara.

According to Febri, most of the public services that were integrated and transferred were population administration (adminduk), such as the Kalimasada service (Environmental Area Awareness of Population Administration).

"This service makes it easier for residents who want to take care of adminduk by submitting an application at the RT level," he said.

In fact, he continued, residents can also apply independently from home by accessing the website https://klampid-dispendukcapil.surabaya.go.id.

The application is used for applications for marriage certificates, divorce certificates, birth certificates, death certificates, biodata updates, title updates, family biodata updating, family title updates, moving out of Indonesian citizens, breaking family cards, to printing family cards.

Meanwhile, the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Dispendukcapil) of the City of Surabaya is ready to implement the use of digital electronic ID cards which will be implemented in stages starting in 2022.

Head of the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) Agus Imam Sonhaji previously said that later there would be two types of ID cards, namely an electronic ID card in physical form and a digital ID card that can be stored on a cellphone in the form of a soft file.

So, he continued, when a blank ID card is not available, people can use a digital ID card as the function of a physical ID card.

"For example, the physical ID card has not been printed, residents can use it (digital ID card). At least it has the same legal force as the physical one, the function is the same, to make it easier for residents later," he said.
