TikTok Lyrics Oracle Offer Than Misrosoft Pinangan

JAKARTA - ByteDance rejected Microsoft's offer to acquire the TikTok business in the United States (US). So will TikTok choose an offer from Oracle?

Quoting from Techcrunch, Oracle is the only potential bidder who still has the opportunity to buy TikTok operations. However, it was not stated when the agreement between Oracle and TikTok will take place.

"That's what is important for those with viral load is preferred. If Microsoft gets TikTok it can increase its use by between 2 percent and 5 percent, while for Oracle it can reach 10 percent," said analysis of Constellation Research, Holger Mueller, Monday, September 14.

The news of Oracle's purchase of TikTok's US operations will eventually end the uncertainty of the fate of the video sharing application. The TikTok partner process is expected to occur several days before September 20, according to the date of the agreement from President Donald Trump that would ban TikTok operations if it does not reach an agreement with a US buyer.

However, according to a Reuters report, China would rather see TikTok shut down than follow US orders to sell. Because, this will make ByteDance and China appear weak in facing pressure from the US.

As a phenomenal app, TikTok has been downloaded 175 million times in the US, and is used by more than one billion people around the world to create unique short videos on their phones.

But it is not far from worrying about the security of the application. TikTok has now been banned in India, along with 58 other Chinese apps, over the same security concerns.
