AGO Touches DK's Initials During Investigation By Prosecutors Pinangki And Djoko Tjandra
JAKARTA - Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Investigators at the Attorney General's Office questioned the DK's initials during the investigation of prosecutors Pinangki Sirna Malasari and Djoko Tjandra. However, they said that they did not know who the owner of these initials was.
"Not only that (questions about the DK), there are a number of interests. But we are still investigating who the DK is. There is no clarity, who knows them. That's why it was stated in the proposal of the suspect Pinangki. Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Ardiansyah, told reporters, Monday, September 14.
During the examination, Pinangki did not admit that he knew the figure of DK. So, investigators are still investigating who the DK is.
However, Febrie believes that Pinangki actually knows DK's initials. It's just that at this time I don't want to reveal it.
"Not unknown, maybe to the extent not. Yes, his name is a suspect," he said.
However, from the results of the preliminary investigations of the DK, it is suspected that they played a part in convincing Djoko Tjandra in arranging the fatwa. Because the DK initials are listed in the proposal submitted.
"Meanwhile DK's name was listed in the Pinangki proposal. When convincing Djoko Tjandra to administer the fatwa so that he would not be executed, he would not be executed. One of them was DK's initials," said Febrie.
When asked about the possibility that DK was one of the officials at the court, Febrie was reluctant to respond. He said that investigators were still investigating the identity of the DK.
"We don't want to think about it. Investigators are still investigating. What is the information about this investigation. The investigation is not over, file two is still being prepared. Djoko Tjandra and Andi Irfan," he concluded.
Previously, Djoko Tjandra and Pinangki Sirna Malasari were questioned again on Monday, September 14. They were examined as witnesses for the suspect Andi Irfan Jaya. However, specifically Pinangki was also examined as a suspect.
The Attorney General's Office in the MA fatwa case has named three suspects. The three are prosecutors Pinangki Sirna Malasari, Djoko Tjandra, and Andi Irfan Jaya.
Pinangki was named a suspect because he was suspected of accepting bribes related to the fatwa so that Djoko Tjandra would not be executed in the cessie case or the right to collect Bank Bali.
The Attorney General's Office suspects that Pinangki received a bribe worth 500 thousand US dollars, equivalent to Rp7 billion from Djoko. Meanwhile, Andi Irfan Jaya, a former NasDem politician, was named a suspect because he was suspected of playing a role as an intermediary for giving bribes.
