Commission VIII DPR held a hearing with echelon I officials of the Ministry of Social Affairs, namely the Secretary General, the Director General for the Management of the Poor, the Director General for Social Protection and Security, the Director General for Social Rehabilitation, the Director General for Social Empowerment, the Head of the Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency, and the Inspector General with the agenda of deepening the budget work plan of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
In the hearing, it was agreed that the budget for the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Social was Rp2,159,314,886,000 which would be allocated for social protection programs Rp1,355,917,176,000 and Rp803,397,710,000 for management support programs.
Meanwhile, the budget for the Directorate General for the Management of the Poor was agreed to be Rp. 57,256,152,505,000, with details for the social protection program Rp. 56,580,000,000,000 and the management support program Rp. 600,172,505,000.
The budget for the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security was agreed upon at IDR 30,993,505,300.00 with details for social protection programs of IDR 30,993,505,300,000 and a management support program of IDR 100,212,500,000.
The budget for the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation was agreed to be IDR 1,517,485,787,000 with details for social protection programs of IDR 991,558,772,000 and a management support program of IDR 525,927,015,000.
The budget for the Directorate General of Social Empowerment was agreed upon at IDR 456,207,360,000 with details for social protection programs of IDR 403,868,545,000 and a management support program of IDR 52,338,815,000.
The budget for the Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency was agreed upon at IDR 391,515,950,000 with details for social protection programs of IDR 216,331,573,000 and management support programs of IDR 175,184,377,000. Meanwhile, the budget for the Inspector General was agreed upon at IDR 43,408,503,000.
