Earthquake Of 6.2 Magnitude Shakes West Sumatra
JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 occurred in West Sumatra, precisely 17 km northeast of West Pasaman on Friday, February 25 at 08.39 western Indonesia time.
Information from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the earthquake was located at 0.15 degrees North Latitude, 99.98 degrees East Longitude at a depth of 10 km does not have the potential for a tsunami.
