Police Say The Driver Who Hit Two Cars In Paseban Smelled Of Alcohol
JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Laka Unit is still conducting an examination of the ISS (21) driver of the Calya car number B 2525 PKH which crashed into two cars on Jalan Paseban, Senen, Central Jakarta, Thursday, February 24.
"The temporary suspicion is lack of caution and the smell of drinks (alcohol)," said Head of Traffic and Traffic at the Central Jakarta Metro Police AKP Sutiyono when contacted, Thursday, February 24.
As of Thursday afternoon, the ISS is still being questioned. The man, a resident of Tanah Abang, will also undergo a urine test.
"It's still in the process of being investigated," he said.
As a result of the accident, the car belonging to the ISS suffered damage to the front body, cracked glass and damaged front hood.
"The two cars that were hit also suffered damage to the front and rear axles, dented right body, cracked front bumper and dented front hood," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the car accident occurred on Jalan Paseban, from east to west, Senen sub-district, Central Jakarta, Thursday, February 24, at around 06.15 WIB. The car numbered B 2525 PKH driven by ISS (21), a resident of Kebon Melati, hit two cars parked on the side of Jalan Paseban.
"As a result of the accident, one car that hit the car and two parked cars that were hit were badly damaged. There were no injuries or fatalities from this incident," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head Kompol Purwanta, Thursday, February 24.
