LPSK Finds New Facts, There Are Efforts To Build Opinions Victims Feel Grateful To Have Been Confined In The House Published Plans

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) discovered something new about the finding of a human cage at the house of the inactive Langkat Regent. There is an effort to build an opinion that the victim witness actually feels grateful to have been trapped.

Deputy Chairman of LPSK Edwin Partogi Pasaribu said that efforts to build this opinion were carried out by certain parties. In addition, said Edwin, victims of former cage dwellers are worried about Terbit's power and influence.

"They still have concerns because the inactive perpetrator or regent is someone who is quite influential in his area," said LPSK Deputy Chair Edwin Partogi Pasaribu in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, February 23.

The victims' witnesses, he continued, realized that the power of a former Langkat Regent, who was not active in Publishing the Wind War Plan, could reach anyone, so they applied for protection to the LPSK.

Seeing and hearing the victims' confessions, LPSK assures that the legal process will be straight and firm.

This is because the victim's worries are motivated by the belief that the regent's family has a fairly strong influence in the surrounding environment.

Moreover, the data that was collected by LPSK found that there was some kind of effort allegedly made by the perpetrators to convey something to the victim's witness according to the wishes of the perpetrator.

"So we build an opinion as if nothing happened. We just heard about this and confirmed that there was an attempt to form an opinion," he said.
