How Sandiaga Responds To Requests For Lombok Youth Who Wants To Be Involved In The Mandalika MotoGP
JAKARTA - The youth of Pujut District, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), held a demonstration because they felt they were not involved in many things in the Mandalika MotoGP pre-season test event some time ago. The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno immediately intervened.
The trick, Sandiaga held a meeting with the Head of the Pujut District Youth Organization (KTK), Sri Anom Putra Sanjaya. On that occasion, Sandiaga invited Anom and other Pujut KTK administrators to talk about youth involvement and the construction of the Mandalika circuit.
Anom revealed that several agreements were made at the meeting.
"Not only regarding the five points of demands that we have conveyed to ITDC, but also related to job opportunities for Pujut youths which will be accommodated directly by him," said Anom.
Besides asking for youth involvement in job opportunities at the Mandalika circuit, he also asked Sandiaga to provide scholarships and free tickets to watch the Mandalika MotoGP in March.
However, the most important thing for him is the involvement of youth in the Mandalika MotoGP event, because they don't want to just be spectators in their own hometown.
"We have qualified qualities so we must be involved in terms of job opportunities at this MotoGP event," said Anom.
During the meeting, Sandiaga appreciated Pujut's KTK for youth to be involved. Sandiaga also asked Sanny A Irsan as the General Chair of the Indonesian SandiUno House Association to oversee the demands of the Pujut KTK.
"We will accommodate and guard their demands. This is also an appreciation from the Pujut community in general," said Sandiaga in a written statement, Wednesday, February 23.
