PSBB Applies, MRT And Transjakarta Operations Are Still The Same As Before

JAKARTA - Today, PSBB is back in effect in Jakarta. The operation of mass public transportation, namely the MRT and Transjakarta, is still the same as the policy during the transitional PSBB period.

Public Relations of PT Transportation Jakarta Nadia Diposanjoyo said there was no change in Transjakarta's operational schedule for the next 2 days.

"Monday, September 14th, until Wednesday, September 16th, the operating pattern applied is still the same as the previous week's operation pattern and there has been no change," Nadia said in a statement on Sunday, September 13.

That way, the Transjakarta operational schedule is open from 05.00 to 22.00 WIB for public customers. Then, there is an additional operational time for health workers from 22.00 to 24.00 WIB.

Even so, Transjakarta buses with tourist routes starting tomorrow will be eliminated again. This is in line with the Jakarta PSBB regulation which again closes entertainment and recreation venues.

"We will inform you about changes to the operating pattern again when there is a coordination decision in the near future," said Nadia.

Likewise, the operation of the Integrated Moda Raya (MRT) has not changed its operational schedule. This was confirmed by the President Director of PT MRT Jakarta William Sabandar.

"The policy implemented continues the previous policy, namely limiting the number of passengers from 62 to 67 people in one train," William said in his statement.

That way, MRT Jakarta will operate from 05.00 to 22.00 WIB. The distance between trains (headway) is 5 minutes during peak hours and 10 minutes during normal hours.
