Heavy Workload, Southwest Aceh Regent Increases Village Head's Salary To Rp2,450,000/Month

ACEH - Southwest Aceh Regent (Abdya) Akmal Ibrahim stated that he has increased the salaries of keuchik/village heads and Gampong officials in the regions considering the workload they handle is quite heavy.

"The salary increase for this apparatus is in accordance with Regent Regulation (Perbup) Number 1 of 2022 concerning the amount of fixed income and allowances for Keuchik and Gampong apparatus in Abdya," said Head of the Office for Community Empowerment, Population Control and Women's Empowerment (DPMP4) Abdya, Nur Afni in Blangpidie. , Between, Tuesday, February 22.

In the Perbup, it is stated that the income for the keuchik and gampong staff is fixed from Rp. 2,000,000 to Rp. 2,450,000 per month.

Furthermore, the salary of the Village Secretary from Rp. 1,400,000 increased to Rp. 1,750,000 per month. Head of Financial Affairs, Head of General Administrative Affairs, Head of Planning Affairs each Rp. 1,250,000 per month from the previous Rp. 1 million.

"The salary of the head of the hamlet (kadus) is still the same, namely, Rp. 1,000,000 per month," he said.

He also said that apart from an increase in salary, Keuchik was also given a position allowance of Rp. 500,000 per month. This allowance is not given to village heads who have the status of implementing duties or day-to-day executors.

Then, the keuchik allowance can be given if as long as the village head can meet at least 75 percent of the tax target that must be quoted in each gampong or village.

"If the target is not achieved, then the allowance that can be given is only Rp. 200,000 or 40 percent of the amount of the allowance," he said.
