Sheikh Ali Jaber Saved the Man Who Stabbed Him from the Rage of the Crowds
JAKARTA - An unknown person stabbed Syekh Ali Jaber. He survived and even had time to save the person who stabbed him from the rampage of the masses.
In an interview with TV One, Sheikh Ali Jaber explained the situation after he managed to save himself.
"There was one person. He was immediately arrested. Honestly, I felt sorry to see the people hit him. I said, 'Don't. Just keep it safe. Let this be the task of the police. Don't take the law into your own hands," he said, quoted on Sunday, September 13.
Sheikh Ali Jaber explained that it happened so fast. It was less than 15 minutes since the event started. The perpetrator suddenly ran from the right side, got onto the stage, and struck a stab.
"I was suddenly surprised to see that someone was on my right, suddenly in front of me," said Sheikh Ali Jaber.
Separately confirmed by VOI, the Head of Sub-Division of Public Information for the Lampung Regional Police Public Relations AKBP Zulman Topani, said that "The perpetrator has been arrested at the Bandar Lampung Police."
Meanwhile, as a result of the wound on his right arm, Sheikh Ali Jaber had to get ten stitches. The incident took place at the Falahuddin Mosque, Tanjung Karang Barat, Bandar Lampung City.
