Fantastic, Supreme Court Chief Reveals The Amount Of Fines And Reimbursement Reaches Rp21.9 Trillion
JAKARTA - Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Syarifuddin, revealed that the amount of fines and replacement money based on the Supreme Court's decision reached Rp. 21.99 trillion.
Based on the Annual Report of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia in 2021 which was broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, the amount of fines and compensation payments is based on decisions with permanent legal force in cases of traffic violations, criminal acts of corruption, narcotics, forestry, child protection, fisheries, money laundering, and other criminal cases.
"The amount of fines and compensation based on the decision of the court of first instance which has permanent legal force in the general court and military court is Rp. 51,905,031,913,135.00 (Rp. 51.90 trillion, ed.)," said Syarifuddin, quoted from Antara, Tuesday 22 February.
In addition, the contribution from the withdrawal of non-tax state revenues (PNBP) in 2021, based on Government Regulation Number 5 of 2019 concerning Types and Tariffs of Non-Tax State Revenues applicable in the Supreme Court and the Judiciary, is Rp. 76.25 billion.
On the same occasion, Syarifuddin also said that the satisfaction level of the parties with the decision of the first instance court reached 97.29 percent.
Meanwhile, at the appeal level, there were 13,678 cases submitted for cassation or 49.15 percent of the total cases decided by the appellate court.
"This shows that the level of satisfaction of the parties with the court's decision at the appellate level is 50.85 percent," he said.
At the cassation level, the decisions submitted for review amounted to 1,338 cases or 9.78 percent of the total cassation decisions. In other words, the level of satisfaction with the cassation decision is 90.22 percent.
