KSAD General Dudung Given The Indigenous Title Of Sasak NTB Prawireng Jayeng Bhuwane, Meaning The Holy Knight Of Mandraguna
PRAYA - The Chief of Army Staff (KSAD) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman was awarded the title of the Sasak Prawireng Jayeng Bhuwane by the Sasak Customary Council at the residence of sasak leader HL Wiratmaja in Prapen Village, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.
"We, the people of Lombok, need security, so the title of Prawireng Jayeng Bhuwane is given," said H Lalu Wiratmaja (Mamiq Ngoh) in Praya, Monday, February 21.
The title given has the meaning of a powerful knight and is expected to be able to protect, provide justice for the people of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) in accordance with the area of office he is currently leading.
"His job is to protect the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, so this title was given to him in order to protect the Indonesian people," he said.
Central Lombok has chosen the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) tourist destination which will host the Mandalika MotoGP race. So Lombok really needs security, because quite a lot of tourists will come.
"Tourists will come to watch MotoGP races and other cultural arts events, when our area is safe and comfortable," he said.
Meanwhile, KSAD TNI Dudung Abdurachman expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the awards that have been given to being part of the Lombok Sasak community.
"Hopefully NTB will remain safe and prosperous," he said.
The Army Chief of Staff also hopes that all ranks of the TNI can continue to provide security and comfort services for the people of NTB, so that people can live their lives for the sake of upholding the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Let us continue to maintain security for Indonesia's progress," he said.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Central Lombok, H Lalu Pathul Bahri said that Central Lombok with the existence of the Mandalika SEZ will host the MotoGP racing event at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, so that the synergy between the TNI and Polri is maintained.
"Hopefully the event will run safely and successfully to encourage the acceleration of community economic growth," he said.
