Anies Affirms Total PSBB Does Not Regulate Mobility In And Out Of Jakarta

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said the total PSBB regulation does not regulate mobility in and out of Jakarta. The PSBB regulations that will take effect on Monday, September 14 will regulate the daily activities of the citizens of the capital city.

"For outgoing mobility and other matters not. But it is more about interactions in Jakarta," Anies told reporters, Saturday, September 12.

The regulations announced on Sunday, September 13, will regulate people's new habits during the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing health protocols. Especially for the sectors that are allowed to operate.

"So there are sectors that can still operate with limited capacities because it is proven that in that sector there are no activities that become special clusters. Most of them are in offices, therefore most will regulate in offices," he explained.

Meanwhile, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Jakarta continues to grow. As of today there are 1,440 new positive cases of COVID-19.

Head of Disease Prevention and Control Division at the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Dwi Oktavia, explained that based on the latest data from the Health Office, 9,561 specimens had been carried out.

"Of these tests, 7,644 people were tested for PCR today to diagnose new cases with a positive result of 1,440 and 6,204 negative," he said in a written statement, Saturday, September 12.

Meanwhile, the total PCR test rate per 1 million population was 70,129. The number of people tested for PCR in the past week was 60,288.

The number of active cases in Jakarta to date is 12,174 people who are still being treated / isolated. Meanwhile, the accumulated number of COVID-19 cases in Jakarta is up to 53,761 cases.

"Of these, a total of 40,183 people were declared to have recovered with a cure rate of 74.7% and a total of 1,404 people died with a death rate of 2.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 4.1%," said Dwi.
