Failed To Take Advantage Of Milan's Draw To Return To The Top, Inter Even Fell At The Hands Of Sassuolo
JAKARTA - Inter Milan missed the chance to climb back to the top of the Serie A standings after a shock 0-2 loss at home to Sassuolo on Sunday local time.
The hosts had been trailing since the eighth minute when Giacomo Raspadori fired a shot past goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.

Gianluca Scamacca then doubled the lead in the 26th minute by heading the ball into the home net.
Inter really struggled and almost went 0-3 down had Domenico Berardi's shot not hit the crossbar.
After the break, the hosts stepped up the pressure to overcome this two-goal deficit.
Their actions saw goalkeeper Andrea Consigli pull off some great saves that kept the visitors clean.
Sassuolo should have added a last-minute goal, but two goals were enough to sink Inter who remain in second place on 54 points or two behind leaders AC Milan.
Sassuolo itself rose to 11th place with a total of 33 points or equal to Torino but lost on goal difference.
