JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office received a lot of input in exposing or holding cases with the KPK. This input relates to the handling of cases involving the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa with three suspects, Djoko Tjandra, prosecutors Pinangki Sirna Malasari and Andi Irfan Jaya.

"Many things have been input by the KPK in order to improve this case to answer doubts from all parties that we can try to synergize this case properly," said Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Ali Mukartono to reporters, Friday, September 11.

However, Ali did not clearly disclose the input given by the KPK. The AGO emphasized that Ali would apply the input to improve the handling of the case.

"The AGO has recorded several points of input from the KPK and it becomes its own record in order to improve the case," he said.

Ali ensured that everything discussed in coordination and supervision with the KPK would be disclosed in the trial process.

"I did not convey what the material was because it was waiting in court because it was the material of the case," he said.

Previously, in the case of Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari, who allegedly received gratification from Djoko Tjandra, was carried out at the Attorney General's Office on Tuesday, September 8.

In that exposure, there are a number of things which are then discussed. Among these were the alleged meeting between Prosecutor Pinangki and his superior.

Attorney Pinangki was named a suspect for allegedly accepting bribes related to the fatwa so that Djoko Tjandra would not be executed in the cessie case or the right to collect Bank Bali.

The Attorney General's Office suspects that Pinangki received a bribe worth 500 thousand US dollars, equivalent to Rp7 billion from Djoko. In addition, in this case the Attorney General's Office has named Andi Irfan Jaya, a former NasDem politician, a suspect.
