JAKARTA - East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head AKBP Edy Surasa said his party was still asking for information from the car driver with the initials AS (47) who hit KS (16), a junior high school (SMP) student who entered the toll road with a motorbike.

"Today, we will have another BAP (minute of examination) for the car driver. If the child (the motorcyclist) has returned," said AKBP Edy Surasa when contacted by reporters, Friday, February 18.

Furthermore, Kasat said his party would take information according to existing procedures for further investigation.

"Essentially, we will take information according to the procedure first with the car, then after that we will look at the handling of the case again because from the accident it is clear that the position of the car is," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Traffic and Traffic of the East Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Seno Wibowo, said that an US car cannot be criminally charged after hitting a KS motorbike on a toll road. This is because the motorcyclist is in violation of traffic regulations.

"So the motorcyclist cannot be penalized because the motorcyclist is in a weak position," said Iptu Seno.

He said the position of the car driven by the US was on the right track. On the other hand, a number of violations have also been committed by US motorists for their actions on the Japek Toll Road.

"The driver is indeed on the right track on the toll road. If you look at the violations, there are many mistakes (motorcyclists). Don't have a driver's license yet, he enters the toll road," he said.
