Desperate To Bring 10 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine Because Of Being Tempted By Rp50 Million In Wages, The Couple Arrested By The North Sumatra BNNP

MEDAN - The BNNP of North Sumatra arrested a couple with the initials RRS alias RI (37) and LP alias LI (29). The two residents of Tanjungbalai City, North Sumatra were desperate to bring 10 kg of crystal methamphetamine.

The head of the North Sumatra BNNP Brigadier General Toga Panjaitan said the two lovebirds were arrested by officers while riding a Toyota Yaris BK 1990 VA on Jalan HM Yamin, Tebing Tinggi City.

"A search was carried out in the car and found 10 green packages suspected of having methamphetamine in the backpack of the suspect RRS alias RI," said Brigadier General Toga, Friday, February 18.

In the car, said Brigadier General Toga, officers also found a woman with the initials LP alias LI. The woman is known to be the lover of the RRS alias RI.

"From the results of the interrogation, the two of them will bring 10 kg of methamphetamine to the city of Binjai. It was on the orders of his boss who is in Malaysia," he explained.

Furthermore, North Sumatra BNNP officers then carried out developments, and arrested a man with the initials JM (68), a resident of Jalan Tengku Amir Hamzah, Binjai City. JM is the recipient of 10 kg of shabu.

For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 114 (2) in conjunction with Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 of Law no. 35 of 2009 with the threat of capital punishment.

"We will issue a DPO against M, who is the boss of this drug dealer," he said.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian suspect admitted that he was desperate to bring 10 kg of crystal methamphetamine because he was tempted by the wages of up to 50 million rupiah.

"The wages for 1 kg of money are IDR 5 million, the money has not been received," said RI.
