Celebrating 114th Anniversary, DJKN Holds Mass Auction Without Deposit
JAKARTA - The momentum of the 114th year of the Indonesian Auction which coincided with the G20 Presidency was utilized by the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance to hold the 2022 MSME Product Auction Event.
Director of Legal and Public Relations of DJKN Tri Wahyuningsih Retno Mulyani said this agenda seeks to encourage MSMEs to expand market potential by utilizing auctions.
"DJKN always strives to improve auction services, so that they can always make an active and positive contribution to improving the regional economy and community welfare," he said in an official broadcast today, Friday, February 18.
According to Tri, some flexibility is given to MSME actors in the MSME Auction Gebyar this time, such as the existence of an extended auction where the auction is more flexible, and prospective bidders do not need to deposit a security deposit.
"This policy is expected to make it easier to buy and sell MSME products through auctions," he said.
For information, the momentum of the 114th year of the Indonesian Auction this year specifically provides a place for MSMEs to strengthen their existence in the market.
The event, which is planned to be held on March 24, 2022, is targeted to be attended by at least 600 MSME players spread throughout Indonesia, which are fostered by various ministries and institutions. Meanwhile, the number of products to be auctioned is estimated at 2,000 items.
"We hope that the DJKN initiative can continue to improve the auction trend. The frequency of auctions recorded in the period 2016 to 2021 was 323,642 times with a total transaction value of Rp. 136.25 trillion," Tri concluded.
