Want To Build A Shop, Men In Kuta Are Desperate To Steal Angkringan Goods Belonging To The Police's Wife
BADUNG - The man with the initials JD (28) from Jember, East Java, was arrested by the Kuta Police, Bali, for trying to steal things at the Campion angkringan, owned by the wife of the police officer, Ria Dwi Lestari (35).
"The perpetrator admitted that the stolen goods will be used by himself to open a business," said Kuta Police Chief Kompol Orpa Takalapeta, Friday, February 18.
The theft occurred on Tuesday, February 15th. The victim was initially called by his employee who said there was an unknown man in the shop.
At that time, the victim checked the kitchen and saw the man immediately ran away. It turned out that the items stored in the warehouse had disappeared, namely 7 gas cylinders, 1 iron ladder, water pump, 3 large beer crates, 2 small beer crates including a cold box.
"For this incident, the complainant suffered a loss of Rp. 7,510,000," he added.
The perpetrator was later arrested after the victim reported it to the police.
"The results of the interrogation of the perpetrators admitted that they had committed theft and the evidence was secured to the Kuta Police Headquarters for further processing," he said.
