JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office has dispatched Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Ali Mukartono to attend the invitation to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in a case title or exposure to the bribery case of Djoko Tjandra, Friday, September 11.

"The plan is that those present to attend the coordination and supervision are Mr. Jampidsus, the Director of Investigation, and the team handling cases, including cases on behalf of suspected PSM prosecutors, then on behalf of JST suspects and on behalf of AIJ suspects," said the Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office. Hari Setiyono to reporters, Thursday, September 10.

He said, the KPK has the authority to coordinate and supervise. So, the prosecutor's office will fulfill this exposure invitation and explain the progress of the investigation into the case.

"Hopefully tomorrow there will be no obstacles. The activity can be carried out and of course the investigator or even later on an institutional basis, Mr. Jampidsus will explain as widely as possible which in essence may be supervised or there will be input from the KPK which has such tasks and functions," said Hari.

Meanwhile, the question of the possibility of handling the case being taken over by the KPK, Hari did not answer directly. He only said that in the previous exposure, the KPK had stated that the investigation process by the Attorney General's Office was on the track.

"The KPK sees that if the handling of cases currently being handled by investigators at Jampidsus is on the track, then the submission in accordance with Article 10 A of the Corruption Eradication Commission Law number 19 of 2019 has not fulfilled it, then of course it is still submitted to the prosecutor's investigator," he said.
