The SD Negeri Margoyasan Yogyakarta Building Now Looks Different, City Government Renovated From CSR Assistance
JAKARTA - The Yogyakarta City Government received corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding assistance from a franchise network. The aid will now be used to repair the Margoyasan Elementary School building.
"Assistance from corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds is one form of the Yogyakarta City Government's Collaborative Program, namely the involvement of the business world," said Yogyakarta Deputy Mayor Heroe Poerwadi on the sidelines of the inauguration of the renovated Margoyasan Elementary School building in Yogyakarta, Thursday 17 February quoted from Between.
A number of improvements made at SD Negeri Margoyasan include replacing ceilings, installing lights, painting classroom walls to replacing floors with ceramics so they look cleaner.
Heroe asked teachers and all school residents to take care of the building which now looks more organized and comfortable to support learning activities at school.
In the future, Heroe hopes that the assistance from CSR funds will not only be directed towards education but also other fields such as health and improving people's welfare.
“Community welfare has a very broad meaning. "Hopefully, there will be mutual support through the Gandeng-Gendong program to improve people's welfare, such as in the economic field, so that they can recover from the pandemic," he said.
Meanwhile, Branch Manager of PT Indomarco Prismatama Yogyakarta Branch M Nurohman said the school renovation was a form of the company's commitment to support the world of education in the city of Yogyakarta.
"Hopefully, this renovation assistance is useful to support teaching and learning activities in schools, increasing student enthusiasm while studying at school," he said.
