Bareskrim Will Attend The Invitation To Expose The Djoko Tjandra Case At The KPK
JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri is ready to attend the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) invitation to carry out a case title or expose Djoko Tjandra's bribery case to a number of law enforcers, Friday, September 11.
"If there are invitations, of course they will attend. (Shrimp) has (been accepted)," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General of Police Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, to reporters, Jakarta, Thursday, September 10.
According to Argo, it was planned that the investigators from the Directorate of Corruption, Bareskrim Polri, attended the invitation. "Dittipidkor investigators," said Argo.
The KPK previously invited Bareskrim, National Police Headquarters and the Attorney General's Office on Friday, September 11.
Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri said that this invitation was related to the title of the case of Djoko Tjandra's alleged bribery case against officials at the National Police and the Attorney General's Office.
"As an implementation of the coordination and supervision authority as stipulated in the law, the KPK invited the Bareskrim, Police Headquarters and the Attorney General's Office to conduct a case at the KPK," Ali said in a written statement.
However, said Ali, the case was not carried out simultaneously. But alternating with the National Police and the Attorney General's Office.
"For the Bareskrim Police Headquarters, it starts at 09.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the Attorney General's Office will start at 13.30 WIB until finished," he said.
Previously, the KPK had also participated in a case title at the Attorney General's Office regarding the case of Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari, who allegedly accepted a bribe from Djoko Tjandra.
In the expose that was held on Tuesday, September 8, there were a number of things that were discussed. Among these were the alleged meeting between Prosecutor Pinangki and his superior.
Attorney Pinangki was named a suspect for allegedly accepting bribes related to the fatwa so that Djoko Tjandra would not be executed in the cessie case or the right to collect Bank Bali.
The Attorney General's Office suspects that Pinangki received a bribe worth 500 thousand US dollars, equivalent to Rp7 billion from Djoko. In addition, in this case the Attorney General's Office has named Andi Irfan Jaya, a former NasDem politician, a suspect.
