Involved In Corruption In Procurement Of Duck Livestock Of Rp. 8.8 Billion, Southeast Aceh Prosecutor's Office Detains 4 Suspects
ACEH - The Southeast Aceh District Attorney's Office (Kejari) has detained four suspects in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of ducks with a budget ceiling of IDR 8.8 billion.
The head of the Southeast Aceh Kejari Intelligence Section Saiful Bahri said the detention was carried out for 20 days for filing prosecutions.
"The four suspects suspected of corruption in the procurement of ducks were detained until March 6 or until the case was transferred to the Banda Aceh Corruption Court," said Saiful Bahri in Banda Aceh, Antara, Wednesday, February 16.
He said the four suspects who were detained were AB as the Budget User Authority (KPA) and MH as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK).
"And suspect KS as the director of CV BM, a duck procurement partner company, and suspect YP as the executor of CV BN," he said.
Saiful Bahri said that the alleged corruption case in the procurement of ducks was initially handled by investigators from the Aceh Police's Special Criminal Investigation Directorate. Then, it was delegated to the public prosecutor of the Southeast Aceh Kejari.
The case began when the Southeast Aceh Regency Agriculture Service procured duck livestock with a ceiling of Rp. 8.8 billion in the 2019 budget year.
The procurement was carried out to CV BN with a work contract value of Rp. 8.69 billion. In its implementation, it is suspected that there was an inflated price and the arrangement of the auction company for the implementing company.
"The state loss in the alleged corruption case reached Rp. 4.2 billion. The state loss was based on an audit by the Aceh Representative BPKP," said Saiful Bahri.
