SLEMAN - The Health Office (Dinkes) of Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) noted that 61 of the 86 sub-districts in Sleman currently have red zone status or have a high potential for COVID-19 transmission.

According to him, the six urban villages that are still in the green zone include Bokoharjo, Gayamharjo, Sambirejo, Sumberharjo, Tambakrejo, and Wukirharjo.

"This increase in the urban red zone is due to the increase in the number of daily COVID-19 cases found," he said.

In order not to be exposed to COVID-19, the public is asked to use a two-layer mask, for example a medical mask on the inner layer and a cloth mask on the outer layer.

In addition, people are also asked to eat nutritious food, get enough rest, and exercise regularly to increase body immunity.

"Immediate vaccination with a complete dose, if there are complaints of coughing or sneezing on folded elbows, avoid meeting in closed places, and open room windows so that air circulation is smooth," he said.

"The addition of cases comes from two hamlet clusters or households that are now developing. In addition, the addition of COVID-19 cases is also influenced by the emergence of office clusters," said Cahya Purnama.
