Sneaky Mothers! Food Holding SOEs Spread 57.5 Tons Of Cooking Oil To Several Markets In Jakarta And West Java

JAKARTA - Food BUMN Holding ID FOOD has again distributed cooking oil to traditional market traders. This time around 57.5 tons of cooking oil were distributed to several market locations in Jakarta and West Java.

Previously, ID FOOD also distributed 12 tons of cooking oil to traditional market traders last week.

The distribution of cooking oil is carried out to several locations and is carried out in stages, including 12 tons of Baleendah Market; Sunter Market as much as 12.5 tons; Koja Market 12.5 tons; Cibubur Market 7.5 tons; Kelapa Gading Market 3.7 tons; and Rawamangun Market 3.7 tons. And the PIK Market of 5.6 tons.

The President Director of ID Food, Arief Prasetyo Adi, explained that the distribution of cooking oil would be carried out in a sustainable manner. This is done in order to meet the availability and affordability of food for the community, according to the role of Food Holding.

Arief admitted that in the field there are still many people who have difficulty getting cooking oil at a reasonable price. Therefore, as an effort to make cooking oil affordable, ID Food's next step is to distribute cooking oil in all cities in Indonesia.

"ID Food Holdings will continue to coordinate with producers and the Ministry of Trade to help accelerate the distribution of bulk cooking oil to market traders in several other city points," said Arief, quoted from Instagram @idfood_official, Wednesday, February 16.

According to Arief, this is in accordance with the direction of the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, who invites people to work together to build the Indonesian ecosystem. Regarding the issue of cooking oil, Erick invited all parties, including SOEs, Regional Governments, Central, and the private sector, to work together and collaborate together.

Meanwhile, Director General of Domestic Trade, Ministry of Trade, Oke Nurwan, said the distribution of cooking oil was carried out by the Food SOE Holding as mandated by the Minister of Trade, Muhammad Lutfi.

"That Food Holding can synergize with the Ministry of Trade in terms of availability of goods, affordability of goods and strengthening the food distribution chain for future challenges," said Oke.
