Lost Farmer In Tabanan Found Dead Stuck In Mangrove Tree Root
TABANAN - I Made Toka (80), a farmer who reportedly fell into the river was finally found. The condition of the victim is already dead.
The joint SAR team found the victim at around 09.10 WITA. His body was caught in the roots of a mangrove tree.
"I Made Toka's body was found at the mouth of the Tukad Pancoran Tabanan river, where the river currents meet the beach, 6.5 kilometers southwest of the location where the victim is suspected of falling," said Head of the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office Gede Darmada, Wednesday, February 16.
The joint SAR team's operations were divided into three teams by conducting sweeps in the river area. Moments later, the team received news that the victim's body had been found.
"The SAR team immediately went to the location and evacuated the body, and then it was taken to Tabanan Hospital using an independent volunteer ambulance," he said.
I Made Toka (80) was previously reported missing while going to the rice fields. The incident occurred in Banjar Bantas, Panarukan Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency, Bali, Tuesday, February 15. The search was carried out until finally the victim was found dead.
