Names Of Elected KPU-Bawaslu Members Circulating, DPR Commission II: That's Not True, Wait For Fit And Proper Test Results!
JAKARTA - Member of Commission II of the DPR RI, MF Nurhuda Yusro, responded to the circulation of a chain message containing a list of elected KPU-Bawaslu members for the 2022-2027 period. According to him, there is no special meeting between the factions to determine the names.
"Ah, that's not true," said Nurhuda to reporters, Wednesday, February 16.
Nurhuda emphasized that there was no meeting to determine the KPU-Bawaslu members other than the DPR. It is known, Commission II of the DPR held a fit and proper test starting Monday, February 14, and only ended today.
"Well, there are no meetings outside the official ones. We focus on the FPT, we're already tired, how can we meet again. When is the break," said Nurhuda.
The member of the PKB faction admitted that he had received the names of elected members from the KPU and Bawaslu which were circulated massively through the WhatsApp timeline. However, he still denied that the information came from the DPR.
"Don't make up names. We are waiting for the final results of this FPT. We're working full time here, from early morning till late at night testing them. We choose according to the applicable procedures and rules," said Nurhuda.
He also appealed to the public not to be provoked by the chain messages circulating. It is better, said Nurhuda, to take an open fit and proper test.
“Follow to the end. It's broadcast live. Give their much-deserved support in various ways to be heard by the members of the council," he said.
According to him, the public can judge for themselves who is the most worthy to be a commissioner in either the KPU or Bawaslu.
“I call it the most worthy, because all are qualified and all are worthy. So we are waiting for the final result that is the most feasible and most trusted to become a commissioner," concluded Nurhuda.
