HRV Dead In Sudirman, Hits Aerox Motorcyclist Until Head Cracks

JAKARTA - Another deadly accident occurred on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman to the north, precisely near Graha BNI, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, February 16, early in the morning.

At around 01.15 WIB, a Honda HRV car hit three motorcyclists. One of them died at the scene due to a broken head injury.

The Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Argadija Putra said the motorcycle rider who died in the accident at the place with the initials MI (17) was riding a Blue Honda Beat.

"The victim suffered a broken head wound. He died on the spot," he said when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, February 16.

Meanwhile, two other black Honda Beat and Yamaha Aerox riders were injured.

"Two other drivers suffered bruises on their faces and wounds on their feet and hands," he said.

Arga explained that the incident began when the Honda HRV driven by the perpetrator with the initials BT drove from the south to the north on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta.

Arriving at the scene, the perpetrator hit the back body of a blue Honda Beat motorbike.

"It is suspected that he was not careful and did not concentrate. After hitting the blue Beat, the car hit another motorbike in front of it," he said.

The victim has been taken to RSCM and Tarakan Hospital. Meanwhile, the vehicle of the perpetrator and the victim has been secured to the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Police for further investigation.

Police are also still checking whether the driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol or not.

"It's still being investigated," he said.
