There's Fuji And Ria Ricis, Here's The List Of Nominees For The TikTok Awards 2021
JAKARTA - The TikTok Awards 2021 will be held on February 25. Among all the nominees, there are Fuji and Ria Ricis who are included in the Popular Creator Of The Year category.
"This year the TikTok Awards 2021 will present 15 categories. One of the new categories is Popular's Streamer of the Year," said Fandhy Thesia as Marketing Operation Manager of TikTok Indonesia during a virtual press conference, Tuesday, February 15.
"So we present this category because we see a lot of creators who are very enthusiastic, diligent in doing live-streaming on TikTok," he continued.
In addition, Fandhy also explained that another new category that was present at the 2021 TikTok Awards was Best Of Foodie for culinary content.
"Of course, friends have often seen a lot of culinary content on TikTok. In fact, many are looking for trends or the latest food recipes on TikTok. That's why Best Of Foodie is one of the newest categories that we present," said Fandhy.
Furthermore, Fandhy explained that the nominees who entered the categories at the 2021 TikTok Awards were those who had been selected based on several criteria. For example, such as creativity, use of features and so on.
"The nominees present in this category were chosen based on what is certain creativity. We also saw the quality of content production presented by creators, where they can also use various features available on TikTok ranging from sound, stickers, to effects," said Fandhy.
"Of course, it is the creators who were nominated that managed to enter the filter from that category. So they also produce positive content that also provides inspiration apart from the use of features," he continued.
On the other hand, Fabian Dharmawan as Vice President - Head of Production Division of RCTI as well as a representative of the 2021 TikTok Awards jury explained that one of the judges' assessments in this year's TikTok award event was the quality of the production and the excitement of the content.
"Of course, if it's from me because in the media, I will see what the quality of the production is like. We can also see what the virality is like. Of course this is subjective from each jury," said Fabian.
"We'll also see how fun it is. This is a fun tag line, right. It can inspire but also be fun. Because these components must be present. So in looking at these categories for the past 2 years, we have seen firsthand the content of this creator, the more creative and fun. Of course, we as judges are even more inspired," he added.
