South Kalimantan Police Reveal Circulation Of 1.1 Kilograms Of Shabu
BANJARMASIN - The Directorate of Narcotics Investigation of the South Kalimantan Police revealed that 1,154.65 grams or around 1.1 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine were circulating.
"This evidence was confiscated from 12 cases and 18 suspects who were arrested by Sub-Directorate 2 of the Narcotics Directorate," said Head of Sub-Directorate 2 of the Narcotics Directorate of the South Kalimantan Police AKBP Zaenal Arifien, in Banjarmasin, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, February 15.
Apart from methamphetamine, 20.5 ecstasy pills weighing 8.87 grams were also seized from the disclosure during February 2022.
One of the prominent cases was the arrest of two suspects with the initials HA (38) and SY (27) with evidence of six packages of methamphetamine weighing 610.62 grams.
The two suspects were arrested on Jalan Pramuka, Pengambangan Village, Banjarmasin City on February 4, 2022 while conducting transactions.
Then the second case was the arrest of FI (43) with evidence of one package of methamphetamine weighing 100.68 grams. The suspect was arrested on Jalan Tatah Bangkal, South Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City on February 12, 2022. Zaenal, who represents the Director of Drug Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol Tri Wahyudi, said that the war on drug trafficking will continue to be carried out so that the movement of the trafficker network can be narrowed and the business of illicit goods can be suppressed. .
Meanwhile, for victims of abusers, Zaenal appealed to immediately follow the rehabilitation program carried out by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in all regions.
"If all these addicts recover, then the drugs will not be sold in the market by themselves. Therefore, it is important to cut off this demand so that the supply from the dealer network also stops," he also said.
