Indonesian Air Force Elite Troops Fly In The Sky Of The Land Of A Thousand Suluk Rohul

JAKARTA - The elite Indonesian Air Force troops, the Rapid Action Forces Command (Kopasgat) from the Command Battalion 462 Kopasgat and the Air Defense Detachment (Denhanud) 475 Kopasgat based at Roesmin Nurjadin Air Base, flew to decorate the skies of the Thousand Suluk Country.

The Kopasgat troops have flown since Sunday, February 13 to hold a Tactical Fall (Juntis) and Free Fall, to be precise above Tuanku Tambusan Airport - Pasir Pangarayan, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province.

The Commander of the Roesmin Nurjadin Air Force Base Marsma TNI Andi Kustoro, and his entourage were also present to witness the Static Refreshing Parachute (Jungar) and Free Fall with the Regent of Rokan Hulu Sukirman.

Marsma TNI Andi Kustoro, appreciates and is proud of the Yonko 462 Kopasgat and Denhanud 475 Kopasgat soldiers in an effort to increase professionalism as an elite force belonging to the Indonesian Air Force.

"I consider the Jungar implementation today to be a success. Thank God the umbrella can expand perfectly," Andi said as quoted by Antara, Monday, February 14.

"This Jungar is not only in operations or training, but can be used as an interest in aerospace potential and can educate the public in witnessing the attractions of the elite Indonesian Air Force troops," said Andi Kustoro.

According to Danlanud, hopefully the Kopasgat soldiers belonging to the Indonesian Air Force will become more professional and can improve their abilities, skills and preparedness, so that they can be operationalized at any time in supporting the tasks of the Air Force in the future.

"Kopasgat involved 162 reliable parachutists consisting of 142 static parachutists with a height of 1000 feet, 20 free fall parachutists with an altitude of 9000 feet under the leadership of Dandenhanud 475 Kopasgat Lieutenant Colonel Pas Tatag Wicaksono, using the Indonesian Air Force C-130/H-1318 aircraft which piloted by Major Pnb Aleg Chandra M," he said.

The goal, said Andi Andi Kustoro, is to 'refresh' the combat instincts of Kopasgat soldiers, so that they are always ready to face every assignment as a member of the Air Force.

The Jungar activity was also attended by the Forkopimda of Rohul Regency and other officials from both the Rokan Hulu Regional Government and Roesmin Nurjadin Airbase officials. After the Jungar activity was completed, it was continued with hospitality. In the process of the activity taking place, keep discipline in carrying out health protocols.
