Police Check Men Who Spread Nude Photos Of Ex-Girlfriends To Facebook And Instagram

TABANAN- A man with the initials DKP from Tabanan Regency, Bali, is suspected of spreading nude photos of his ex-girlfriend with the initials KMA on social media so that it went viral.

The victim, KMA, reported it to the Tabanan Police, Bali, so that DKP was arrested and held accountable for his actions.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Tabanan Police, AKP Aji Yoga Sekar, said the KMA reported the matter on February 5, 2022, after learning that the photo had gone viral on Facebook and Instagram.

"He reported it on February 5. If the confession (of the victim) is temporary (viral) on Facebook and Instagram," said AKP Aji Yoga, when contacted, Monday, February 14.

At that time, DKP made a status on social media containing videos and photos of victims. The victim and his family then reported the incident to the police for further treatment.

"As a result of the incident, videos and photos of (victims) were spread on social media," he added.

AKP Aji Yoga said the police had examined 2 witnesses who knew about the incident.

"We have examined all the witnesses. Now we have coordinated with the Special Crime Investigation Unit with the completeness of evidence," he added.

Meanwhile, the alleged perpetrators have not been detained by investigators from the Tabanan Resort Police, Bali, because they are still waiting for the results of the investigation by the Bali Police Ditkrimsus and expert witnesses.

"Not yet, we are waiting for the Crime Investigation Unit and from the expert. Then we want to examine the expert witness, after that, then the title of the suspect will be determined," he said.

The police have not yet conveyed the DKP's motive for spreading the nude photos of his ex-girlfriend.

"We haven't been there yet, while we haven't asked, we have only fulfilled the evidence," said AKP Aji Yoga.
