Following The Redmi 9A, Xiaomi Launched The Redmi 9C In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Xiaomi officially launched its newest entry-level device, namely the Redmi 9C. This phone is only one month later, after Xiaomi released the Redmi 9A for the Indonesian market.
In terms of specifications, it is not that different between Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C. Both offer large screens, 5,000 mAh battery, three rear cameras, and use the Helio chipset from MediaTek.
"Redmi 9C is the newest member of the family that we bring to Indonesia. This phone is designed for young people and those who are young at heart, comes with a large screen, long battery life, impressive camera configuration, fast processor," said Country Manager Xiaomi Indonesia, Alvin Tse , in virtual launch, Wednesday, September 9.
Redmi 9C carries a 6.53-inch screen which has TUV Rheinland certificate to protect the eyes from blue rays. At the top, there is a Dot-Drop bangs containing a 5MP selfie camera. The Redmi 9C screen offers a 20: 9 aspect ratio.
Not only a wide screen, Redmi 9C also comes with a 3D Unibody design for a premium design complete with anti-slip on the cover. The fingerprint sensor is also located on the back of the phone.
For performance, Redmi 9C is powered by an octa-core Helio G35 chipet up to 2.3GHz combined with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. Users can also expand their storage capacity with a microSD card. This microSD slot is separate from the Dual SIM slot, aka not a hybrid.
"This chipset is equipped with hyperengine technology that makes the overall performance of the game smooth," said Alvin.
As for photography needs, this entry-level phone comes with three cameras and one LED flash symmetrically arranged in a square module. The three cameras consist of a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Another feature, Xiaomi also provides this phone with the latest HyperEngine technology which is claimed to provide a smooth gaming experience. Redmi 9C runs the Android 10 operating system layered with the MIUI 12 interface. Other features include Micro USB, a 3.5mm audio jack connector, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Redmi 9C can be obtained for the first time starting September 15 through Mi.com, Mi Stores, and a number of other e-commerce. This phone also has three color variants, namely Midnight Gray. Twilight Blue, and Sunrise Orange.
The price of Redmi 9C in Indonesia is IDR 1,399,000 for the 3GB / 32GB variant and IDR 1,599,000 for 4GB / 64GB. Xiaomi provides a full official warranty for Redmi 9C for 24 months.
