Doctor Strange 2 Premiere Trailer Appears In Superbowl

JAKARTA - After being released in the middle of the Super Bowl, Marvel released the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on Monday, February 14.

This two-minute trailer presents a number of moments when Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) has nightmares. Doctor Strange is also seen talking to Wong (Benedict Wong) after another universe event unfolds in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Later, Doctor Strange meets Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) after the events at WandaVision. They talk about the multiverse theory which looks dangerous.

It doesn't stop there, this trailer also shows a series of chaos in the middle of the multiverse.

Doctor Strange also meets Sinister Strange who is the evil version of him. Towards the end of the trailer, Wong yells at Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is directed by Sam Raimi and is the sequel to 2016's Doctor Strange. The film is set in WandaVision and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Besides Cumberbatch, this film also stars Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Elizabeth Olsen and Xochitl Gomez.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is one of a series of movie trailers that premiered at the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, there are trailers for Jurassic World: Dominion, NOPE, Sonic the Hedgedog 2, The Lost City, and others.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
