KPK Cecars Deputy Chair Of The Surabaya District Court On Appointment Of Itong As Chair Of The Panel Of Judges For PT SGP's Lawsuit
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has finished examining the Deputy Chairperson of the Surabaya District Court (PN) Dju Johnson Mira Mangngi. Investigators questioned him regarding several things, including the appointment of Itong Isnaeni Hidayat as chairman of the panel of judges for the lawsuit against PT Soyu Giri Primedika (SGP).
Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said that the investigation into Dju Johnson was carried out at the Ditreksrimsus Polda Jatim on Friday, February 11.
"The investigative team has examined the witnesses for suspect IIH et al as follows Dju Johnson Mira Mangngi, Deputy Chairperson of the Special Class IA Surabaya District Court," Ali told reporters, Monday, February 14.
There are several things that investigators are exploring in the examination. One of them, said Ali, was about the appointment of Itong to lead the trial for the lawsuit against PT Soyu Giri Primedika.
"The person concerned was present and confirmed, among other things, related to the issuance of the determination of the appointment of suspect IIH as Chair of the Panel of Judges hearing the PT SGP lawsuit," he said.
In addition, the Corruption Eradication Commission also questioned other witnesses, namely two lawyers Michael Christ Harianto and Yeremias Jeri Susilo; lawyers from the lawyer's office RM Hendro Kasiono, Lilia Mustika Dewi; and the accounting staff of PT Teduh Karya Utama, Hervien Dyah Oktiyana.
During the examination at the same time and place, investigators questioned them regarding the trial process for the PT SGP lawsuit led by Itong.
"Witnesses were present and confirmed, among others, related to the trial process for PT SGP's lawsuit at the Surabaya District Court," said Ali. As previously reported, the KPK appointed Surabaya District Court Judge Itong Isnaeni Hidayat and substitute clerk Hamdan as recipients of bribes. While the giver is a lawyer and representative of PT Soyu Giri Primedika, Hendro Kasiono.
This bribe was given by Hendro Kasiono so that the decision on the PT SGP case was according to his party's wishes, namely that the company was declared disbanded with a divisible asset value of IDR 50 billion.
The money given by Hendro to Hamdan was carried out in the parking lot of the Surabaya District Court Building amounting to Rp140 million as a sign of completion. However, before the money was in the hands of Judge Itong, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) carried out a hand arrest operation (OTT).
