DPR Commission II Holds Fit And Proper Test Candidates For KPU-Bawaslu Members
JAKARTA - Commission II of the DPR has begun to hold a fit and proper test for the candidates for commissioner of the Indonesian General Elections Commission (KPU) and members of the RI Bawaslu today, Monday, February 14. The fit and proper test will be carried out until Wednesday, February 16th.
It is known, there are 14 KPU commissioner candidates who will be selected as many as seven people and 10 candidates for the RI Bawaslu members who will be screened into five members for the 2022-2027 period.
Previously, the Chairman of Commission II of the DPR RI, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, said that the candidates for the RI Bawaslu members and the RI KPU commissioners would be emphasized on several aspects. The most important thing is the matter of the integrity of the candidates for KPU and Bawaslu members.
"First and most important is the aspect of integrity. Looking at the experience, there are still election organizers who are stuck in legal problems," said Doli. In addition, in the fit and proper test, Commission II of the DPR will also consider understanding the concept of election to election technicalities, including communication skills. Today, Monday, February 14, there are eight candidates for KPU members who will undergo a fit and proper test. Namely August Mellaz, Betty Epsilon Idroos, Dahliah, Hasyim Asy'ari, I Dewa Kade Wiarsa Raka Sandi, Idham Holik, Iffa Rosita, Iwan Rompo Banne.
Then six more people will undergo the due diligence tomorrow, Tuesday, February 15, namely Mochamad Afifuddin, Muchamad Ali Safa'at, Parsadaan Harahap, Viryan, Yessy Yaty Momongan, and Yulianto Sudrajat.
Followed by two candidates for Bawaslu members, namely Aditya Perdana, Andi Tenri Sompa. While the other eight people on Wednesday, February 16, Fritz Edward Siregar, Herwyn Jefler Malonga, Lolly Suhenty, Mardiana Rusli, Puadi, Rahmat Bagja, Subair, and Totok Hariyono. The event started at 10.00 WIB and ended at 21.00 WIB.
