Make Sure The Price Of Cooking Oil Is IDR 14 Thousand, Coordinating Minister Airlangga Reviews Market Operations In Lampung
JAKARTA - In a series of working visits to Lampung Province, Saturday, February 12, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto reviewed the implementation of market operations at Kangkung Market, Teluk Betung Selatan District, Bandar Lampung.
The market operation, which was held on Saturday, February 12, was carried out in collaboration with the Government and several stakeholders, such as Bulog, PT Tunas Baru Lampung, Pinsar Laying National (PPN), PINTAR/Ciomas, and Toko Tani Indonesia.
"This visit is also to see the availability of food needs in the market. So that people can enjoy the price policy set by the government. Such as cooking oil at a price of Rp. 14 thousand, then rice, sugar, and meat are also available at good prices, "said Airlangga.
In this market operation, Bulog provides premium rice with a volume of 1 ton at a price of IDR 47 thousand / 5 kg. There is also 500 kg of granulated sugar at a price of 10 thousand/kg, 250 kg of red onions at a price of Rp. 30 thousand/kg, and 250 kg of garlic at a price of Rp. 20 thousand/kg. Furthermore, 5,000 liters of cooking oil are provided at a price of Rp. 14 thousand/liter by PT Tunas Baru Lampung.
On that occasion, Coordinating Minister Airlangga also asked about the development of cooking oil sales at Rp. 14 thousand/liter. "In the future, we will continue to push the price of cooking oil to remain normal at Rp. 14 thousand/liter. We will also try to provide bulk oil for traders here, while non-bulk oil already exists," Coordinating Minister Airlangga said in a release to the media.
The market operation will continue to enforce strict Health Protocols, such as the use of masks, for both buyers and sellers.
In addition to market operations, previously Airlangga also inaugurated the Pulung Kencana Market in Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. This market has just reopened after the renovation is complete.
The appearance of the market has changed to become more modern, as can be seen from the building which is better with a neat layout. The market also has good sunlight and air circulation. Pulung Kencana Market is planned to be a major economic center for local communities, and is expected to become a shopping destination or market tourism.
Still in the series of market operations at the Kangkung Market, an Egg Eating Campaign was also held which was facilitated by PPN. Each visitor who attends is given a maximum of two eggs. This is one way to help increase the immunity of the community because they have adequate nutrition.
