Jakarta Residents Satisfaction Level With Low Rp0 Downpayment House, Deputy Governor Riza: We'll Optimize The Time We Have Left
JAKARTA - The survey shows that the level of satisfaction of Jakarta residents with the Rp0 DP House program made by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is quite low.
Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, has reassembled his body. He promised to improve the achievement of the target of building a house with a down payment of Rp.0 until the end of his term of office in October 2022.
"This is still being repaired. In the remaining time, we will continue to optimize it as much as possible," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 11.
As is known, in the Populi Center survey, only 30 percent of Jakarta residents said they were satisfied (25.7 percent satisfied and 4.3 percent very satisfied) with the Rp0 DP house program.
Then, as many as 11.7 percent considered this program normal, then as many as 31 percent of residents considered dissatisfied (27.8 percent dissatisfied and 3.2 percent very dissatisfied), and 27.3 percent answered they did not know or did not answer.
The Populi Center survey was conducted from January 26 to February 1, 2022 with a sample of respondents spread proportionally in 60 urban villages in DKI Jakarta.
The survey was conducted through face-to-face or face-to-face interviews. An initial sample of 600 was selected at random (multistage random sampling) with a margin of error for the survey with an estimated sample size of ± 4 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
For information, as of February 4, 2022, the program to fulfill the housing needs of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has only sold 885 units.
Meanwhile, currently only 967 housing units have been built during Anies' tenure as DKI Governor. The construction of the Rp0 DP house was carried out by Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya and Perumnas.
Since the beginning of his tenure, Anies has targeted the construction of a DP house of IDR 250,000 units in the 2017-2022 regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD).
As time went on, the realization of a Rp0 down payment house was still minimal. Therefore, Anies proposed changing the occupancy target from 232,214 units to 10,460 units in the draft RPJMD amendment.
The Rp0 DP house is also included in Anies' priority program until his term of office expires in October 2022 which is stipulated in the Governor's Instruction Number 49 of 2021 concerning the Settlement of Regional Priority Issues.
In the Ingub, Anies is targeting the implementation of a Rp0 DP credit contract in collaboration with private developers in September 2021. Then, Anies also targets a credit agreement of at least 500 housing units in cooperation with the private sector using a Rp0 DP financing scheme in June 2022.
