JCI Opens Weak, Analyst Recommends BNI And BRI Shares
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) opened in the red zone on Wednesday, September 9 trading. JCI opened lower by 0.65 percent or 33.99 points to the level of 5,210.08.
Opening trades, 17 stocks rose, 91 stocks fell, and 30 stocks remained stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 51.38 million shares with a transaction value of IDR 59.63 billion.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst, M. Nafan Aji Gustama predicts the JCI movement in today's trading has the opportunity to continue the process of increasing, after yesterday ending in positive territory.
"Technically, it indicates the potential for further strengthening in the JCI movement, so that the index has the opportunity to go to the nearest resistance level," Nafan said in his research.
So far, JCI is trying to maintain the support level at 5,172, while the closest resistance target that is trying to be reached is at the level of 5,293.
Thus, he explained, the potential for further strengthening of the JCI today could be exploited by investors by accumulating the purchase of shares in PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA). ), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR), and PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT).
A similar estimate was conveyed by PT Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (RELI) analyst, Lanjar Nafi, who said that the JCI today will undergo a further strengthening process towards the closest resistance target at the level of 5,345.
Technically, according to Lanjar, JCI is trying to experience further strengthening towards the 5,343 position. Lanjar estimates that JCI has the potential to continue strengthening, with support-resistance at the level of 5,200-5,345.
So, in the midst of the potential strengthening of the JCI in today's trade, Lanjar offered a number of shares that market players could observe, namely PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Charoen Pokphand Tbk (CPIN), PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), and PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA).
