During 2019, Avenged Sevenfold did not do much musical activities and will not be back on the streets until this year. The blistered blood on M. Shadows' vocal cords forced them to cancel their summer 2018 tour with Prophets Of Rage and Three Days Grace.
In September 2018, they released a new song called Mad Hatter. The song was recorded for the video game Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and was included on Black Reign's four-track EP (mini album) which the band wrote and recorded for the Call Of Duty: Black Ops franchise.
