After Kissing Fans, David Beckham And Victoria Are Positive For COVID-19
JAKARTA - The celebrity couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have become two public figures who are known to be positive for COVID-19. They are thought to have caught the virus while in Los Angeles in March.
Reporting from the Straits Times on Tuesday, September 8, The Sun magazine reported the two flew to the United States on March 1 to provide support to the Inter Miami club who was playing at the Los Angeles Football Club.
After that, they had a chance to meet and get together with chef Gordon Ramsay and other Beckham family members such as their son Brooklyn and his fiancé, Nicola Peltz.
"They attend events because David has promotional business, and they shake hands and kiss fans and various club officials," said an unnamed friend.
A few days later, the family returned to London to celebrate Brooklyn's 21st birthday. They invited various public figures such as Stormzy and Spice Girls member Emma Bunton. No social distancing or health protocols are in place.
It didn't last long, they returned to Miami. After that, the former Manchester United player found his body temperature high. His wife, Victoria also felt a sore throat and high temperature.
Beckham's house members such as the chauffeur, caretaker and assistant also feel the same pain. They also carried out tests and the results were that David and Victoria Beckham were exposed to COVID-19.
They immediately went into quarantine for 2 weeks at their residence. After that they did a test and were declared non-reactive before traveling for holidays to Italy and Greece in July and August.
